that millwright @ 3:38, its highly likely that the company payroll month starts in the middle of the month, eg if the month starts on the 16th amd ends on the 15th, he will be paid all overtime worked between those dates on payday for this example we use 25th payday . Any overtime worked after the 15th in the same month will only be paid on the 25th of the next calender month, this will also mean the tax for that particular overtime will be deducted the following month, hence the 2 tax deductions. if you check properly you will realise that the payslip in question is for 11/2023 but has overtime backpay for 10/2023 and that overtime has a tax deduction stamped 10/2023.

The mec fitter at 8:20 is what I don’t like about working in engineering in South Africa, it’s the exploitation that is allowed, I hope one day all engineering professionals in SA can immigrate so that see if we are not really worth it

Hey Boni. Hope you're well. If you had a sibling who's 25 years and wanted to go back to High School next year to study Maths and Physics in order for them to be able to study/pursue a career in boilermaking/millwright/plumbing,what would your advise be?

Maths and physics are a good choice if you have an aptitude for it. These are good choices as well, especially Millwright. Have you seen the video on Millwright with a guest ?.

So it's not too late or time wasting for him to go back to High School at 26 to study Maths and Physics? Because he took Maths lit as a subject in High School and now he feels like if he changes Maths lit to Maths and adds Physics it will open him up to more opportunities such as learnerships,etc
