Thanks for the video, as I am looking at going to a mechanical pump. Please show a video of mounting a mechanical pump and how to run a cable drive rear pump!!!

This is something I would also like to see.

What about cam driven LS? Alky digger has a timing cover to do it. Why don't you guys have one? Pros and cons??

Do you have the part number for the F body crank hub that you show in the video

I tell you could make that would be perfect for a mechanical fuel pump drive. Implement a pump drive that could be run from the serpentine belt system. Many systems use idler/tension pulleys, some will even have direction changing pulleys that run inside the serpentine. Many have a second drive say like a 2005 GTO that could use the A/C belt system to drive a mechanical pump.

The problem with the serpentine belt is the possibility of belt slip under high load or the belt coming off at high RPM, both times when you absolutely do not want to run out of fuel pressure. A toothed belt with a short run should mitigate both of those issues. The serpentine system might also be a pain to get the drive ratio set up correctly.

Will the coyote hub work with a 5.4 4v mod motor with an ATI balancer and do you have a mounting bracket for it? I am going to be running motor plates, so should I just build something to mount it to?

You could have said it's exactly like over or under driving a roots 8:71 supercharger. Small pulley on blower big on bottom = over drive ie: faster than engime rpm by x amount Obverse is spinnimg the blower slower than crank rpm. Same ratio concept except the pumps have a specific ideal rpm and ratio March

Remember cam-driven mechanical fuel pumps? Sure made life easy since there was no math involved.

Pretty limited if you wanted to do a boosted carb application.
