Only some Optical switches cannot be lubed. I'm pretty sure the spring and stem of these switches don't interfere with the sensing mechanism.

The big downfall about the keyboard is the price, $1,300 If I'm correct, if I wanted to spend that much money on a keyboard I would just go with the massdrop keyboard which has interchangeable keys for the price of $200

It must be a switch type where the actuation point is less than the full travel distance... So you wouldn't really have to press all the way through. These kinds of keyboards are good for fast paced games where the fastest reaction time counts
