Mechanical Watch Movement DG2813 Replacement

In this video, I will replace the watch movement DG2813 in my mod watch. DG2813 is a Chinese automatic watch movement with a date window at the three. This movement is an 11 1/2 ligne movement 26.00 mm in diameter with a thickness of 5.85 mm. Hand sizes 150/100/16 (h/m/s).

I seen alot watch restoration on KZbin, you are a rare breed of watch restorations. Your very rough on this watch. No doubt that you have knowledge of what u doing, but u could be abit more gentle and have rubber pad to work on. Honestly if u were to service my watch I would be worried. Is it possible to rotate the dial a bit? I bought a watch with this same movement, but the dial seems a couple degrees off, i wonder if it is possible to align it

Yes, you can do that by bending the dial feets a bit. But not too much. Otherwise it will break. Other option is to remove the dial feets and just stick the dial using double tape.

Hi Eric, both 28 or 29 mm fits 2813 or nh35. The main difference is in the dial feet. For NH35, the arrangement is different from the DG2813 movement. I hope this answers your question.

@@eric146999 Usually the dial comes with the right feets, unless it is mentioned that the dial supports all kind of movement. For that, you have to remove the extra feets. I don’t know if you can get the replacement parts for this movement. But you can get the full movement for 20 dollars from Aliexpress. I got mine from there only. Just search 2813 movement and go with the one which have good reviews.

If you use dial adhesive dots, yes. However, the date may not align with the date cutout on the dial This dial’s feet is designed to fit the movement. Most fake Rolex dials are designed to fit on ETA movements.

I think in an Invita pro diver, we have a NH35 movement. This case can be used for that also. But you have to buy a different set of hands and dial and also movement ring.

What is the correct position to remove the stem? Is it winding position or time setting positions?

Hi, the correct position is the winding one. If you have a screw down crown. First, unscrew it and then remove the stem. Otherwise, just remove the stem by using the tweezers.

For 2813 dial, I bought it from s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_DFPPDxX This is a no-logo dial. For R-dial, I recommend looking on Aliexpress. It's a bit difficult to find. For NH35, s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_DFYEYWZ Again this is a no-logo dial.

Thank you for your video, I don't understand how an 8215 can both be suitable for a 41 and 36mm caliber? how it fits on both a submariner and a datejust. there is no date difference? Or are there different motor sizes?

Hi, the movement 8215 is of the same size (26 mm) for both the submariner and Datejust. You just have to use a Watch Movement Holding Spacer Ring. That is one which varies in size so that the movement can be used in any watch case.

@@sami53921 The caliber (movement) size is the same. But the size of the hands can be different. The hands come in all sizes. You have to be sure which one to take. The most common one is 12X12X8mm for 8215. It can be used for both 36 or 41 mm case. True, the dial size will be the same for both.

Hey, the dial you can stick it to the movement using a tape. But the hands of 2813 are not compatible with NH35. You have to buy different hands for it.

I have a real SUB but I also bought one of these replicas from AMZWATCH for piece of mind if I go to another country or if I am doing activities that can damage the watch. I don't see anything wrong with that.
