As per owners manual of Honda Deio should change every two years, 120 ml , however fill it only 100 ml during change , during assembling the engine fill it with 120 ml ( during change around 20 ml remains , so fill only 100, during assembling the engine the oil chamber is fully empty )

Correct, use only 10 w30 grade engine oil as gear oil, don't use 80w90 grade

In my activa het (2014) manual it is specified to use engine oil(10w 30) to be used in gearbox. But i used castrol 80w 90 gear oil 2times, and rest is engine oil .there is literally no difference in performance, mileage ,smoothness everything same. But I recommend changing gear oil within 5k kms in any scooty (due to rain and so much dust in India)

If you change 10W30 engine oil every 5,000 KMs then it may be okay. But gear oil is 80W90 and changeable e way 20,000 KMs or two years. If 20,000 KMs not done then change after 2 years. However, my Honda Activa 5G has done just 20,000 KMs in 3 year's time then I am changing engine oil every year. Cheers

First you have to loosen the drain plug, put the drain dish underneath then open the drain plug and simultaneously open the gear oil in plug. This will completely and easily drain out the old oil. Once done tighten the drain plug and fill fresh gear oil. 😢😢😮

Maine aaj servicing mein Castrol activ 10W -30 engine oil alag se ek shop se liya Rs350 ka jiska mrp Rs 385 ta...main abhi check Kiya toh pata chala ki Castrol activ ak ye combo pack of engine oil and gear oil ata h 400-400Rsmrp.ka jo ki bikta Rs350 pe....mera scooter abhi tk 19000km chala hai in 6 years ...abhi tak gear oil ni change krwaya h
