Now No Need To Take NOC For Bike, Scooter or Car Bought In Finance / Loan | No Hypothecation Loan

Hypothecation is the process wherein you pledge the ownership of your vehicle to the lender. Once you take a vehicle loan, the hypothecation request is submitted to the regional transport officer with the loan details. Even though the vehicle's ownership remains with the lender, your name and address are mentioned in the vehicle's RC book. It means you will be legally liable for everything related to the vehicle.
Now some banks is offering two-wheeler loans without the need for hypothecation of vehicle to the financier over the tenure of the loan. The borrowers can choose from 3 different EMI tenures - 6, 12 and 18 months - with interest rates between 7.99 per cent and 8.99 per cent
Currently, two-wheeler financiers transfer the title of the vehicle to the customer only when the entire loan amount is repaid. This leads to additional paperwork and puts financial burden on the customer.
In No Hypothecation Scheme Loan, after the payment of all EMIs, you do not have to take the NOC (No Objection Certificate) of your vehicle.

Maine 2020 mein Honda Dio DX gadi liya hai, lekin mujhe aisa RC nehi mila hai. Normal kahaz mein printed copy diya hai showroom walon ne. Maine pucha tha kya yeh kagaz lekar Motor vehicles mein jane se RC milega? Toh showroom walon ne kaha nehi, yehi RC hai.

I bought a bike in 2018 and my RC says new in it also there is no bank name written on it. I took an icici bike loan and paid it in 1 year. When I sent my RC copy to the RTo agent, he said I would have to bring NOC from the bank and copy of an email of bank to RTO official mail id for transfer the ownership. Please advice.
