For shear stresses (VQ/It) the neutral axis is perpendicular to the shear force V that caused the stress. For bending moments (My/I) the neutral axis is the axis that that moment is bending about.

What about the stress components at point C? I tried them on my own and I think I found the bending stress to be 106.95 MPa in compression and the shear stress to be 15.34 MPa in tension at point C. Not sure if these are correct.

Wouldn’t the weight of the sign affect the sum of forces in the Z direction?
