Off topic, I had some success with Dragon Engine and Stormseeker in my Mishra deck. I was able to meld quite reliably. I had a couple of Rabbit Batteries in the deck, but was melding Mishra often enough that I was comfortable cutting them. Misery's Shadow made it a lot easier to cut the Trespasser making room for the additional 3 drops, so hats off, Luca. Thanks for showcasing the Shadow, I probably wouldn't have looked at it for a while. Im getting bad about not reading new cards. Shame on me.

So i was guessing something in the 5th game vs mardu. You could play the play with fire to their face putting them down to 2 life and he has to swing next turn or he will die to chandra and flamebuddy. Or to top things of with lightning strike which also grews the swiftspear for leathal anyways

I wonder if fable is even good in a low to the ground deck like this one. it helps you not flood out and most of your games go long enough that you might get full value out of it. The list probably doesn't have any room in the three drop slot anyways but I just wonder given that fable is the best red card in standard

If you do historic brawl with Zacama as commander, sure. If you're talking 1v1 historic or 3v3 matches with a 60 deck, no. You'll get smoked by combo decks and tribal elves etc etc.

There are a lot of monoblue decks, that just play 'haughty Djinn' besides blue cheap instants, also playing the serpent that gets cheaper.

OG swiftspear has iconic art thanks to its prevalence in older formats, the new art is fine but less recognizable

Part of it is the lack of a high resolution image for the new art. The original is also more recognizable and is just very iconic.

@@LegenVD The original art is also just plain better. I was waiting for the Swiftspear to appear (ha, ha) on Arena quite a bit, but they went and commissioned a worse look for her. So disappointing. It's not even the artist that's bad - Gabor Szikszhai is _very_ good - it was probably the task he was given by wotc.
