I have to say, those Kamigawa cards do have some pretty cool enchantment synergies. I prefer the builds that are a little more all in on the enchantments, but the modified stuff has some really good stuff too. Kodama giving stuff trample / extra land drops was probably a tough call, but you don't really have a good way to utilize extra lands through big creatures or have a good card draw engine. Makes sense to leave it out.

R(2) open in just about any deck in the current meta and you automatically suspect fable of the mirror breaker. Can only imagine how much more ubiquitous it will become post rotation.

I built basically the same thing and put it on my channel a few months ago, the only big difference is that it ran Arni slays the troll.

Think it has more to do with synergy than power, like an adventure deck that cares about actual adventure synergy and not just sheer value.
