That was SUCH a great game. I'm happy I was a part of it. I was on the TOW for that last shot, I saw the LAV repairing on the map and had to lock it down😄. LAV did amazing, but our infantry wasn't too responsive. Cheers, MoiDawg!

lmao I love it whenever you say " secure defeat from the jaws of victory." Ahahaha EDIT: I been yelling at my screen back when the Aussies still had like 90 tickets to start going defensive. They are BLEEDING tickets trying to attack slums the whole game and literally gaining no ground. Meanwhile their two caps are completely undefended from the North and already had a close call. There's barely any fortifications there and troops are sparse. But they only start calling a defense at 38 tickets. That's honestly a bit late, but at least the ticket disparity has slightly narrowed so maybe not. EDIT2: AHHH! Just look at how much casualties they inflicted on the Russians the instant they started defending. A small team hunting radios and HABs while the rest defended. They could have done it if they started defending way earlier. I now feel justified thinking they should have went on the defensive earlier. So its fine to try and keep up the momentum(which prevent the enemy from trying to cap your points) but when you are low on tickets, being on the offensive will cost you more tickets. Its common knowledge that attackers suffer higher losses. If they aren't achieving any ground towards Slums, it would have been the smart thing to do to try and reverse the ticket bleed by defending and inflicting disproportionate casualties upon the enemy instead.

It was because people were complaining about AT being too weak after the weapon sway changed that came with 6.0.

The previous ranges were too long, much higher than they are IRL. Plus with the stupidity of ICO, it was almost impossible to land shots in the first place

Yes, arming range was not realistic at all for most weapons. And after the ICO, the HATs and LATs were very hard to aim. So now we have very short arming distances, for both realism and balance.

@@helltarrist the squad wiki says the arming distance of the rpg-28 is 33m. that may be old info but i just find it odd that a conventional army would have a rocket that would explode so close from the launcher, look at 43:40, thats way closer than 33 m

@@pipjersey8303 Something like the LAW has 10 meters of arming distance in real life. Depending on where the shooter is located (shooting out of a window on a building, for example), you can get away with it exploding 10 meters from you, since it's a HEAT shell, the amount of fragmentation that would shoot back at you wouldnt be a crazy problem. The blast, though, could easily knock you out or worse, but if a vehicle is that close to you, I'd rather take my chances. 33m is like 40 yards, so definitely a very long distance, btw. On the other hand, manpads have a higher arming distance of 15-20 meters depending on the one you're using. Since they're basically small missiles and not a shells, so they need more airtime to arm.

I think these small maps are just too small for Squad tactical play. No flanking possibilities and almost no heavy vehicles like helicopters or tanks etcetera. Just plain and boring imo, but good video :)
