It looks like the back doors and shield were on the same sprue as the robot drone’s body. That’s probably why there’s black. On the original Earthrise toy it’s all the same gray. Very boring. This is actually an improvement.

You transformed the knees incorrectly - the panels over the knees bend forward on an angle and then the grill bit is secured by the peg on the shin panel. Great review otherwise!
