Mechstermination Force (Contra x Colossus) All Bosses (No Damage)

A very hard boss run I promised not long ago. This is a fun game which is best described as a mix of Contra, Shadow of the Colossus and Gunstar Heroes (seriously, final boss is basically a cross between Golden Silver and Seven Force). It was made by creators of Gunman Clive dilogy and I recommend you to play it if you have Nintendo Switch. Overall, this was a very difficult challenge to attempt. On top of perfecting each boss I decided to use only the default weapon which made many of the battles even harder. Well, I hope you like this video. I will rest from making hardcore videos for some time now but I have couple of interesting games I might record later.

@@zacharyjoy8724 To be honest, I like to think that it was me and Shadowserg who inspired Gellot to make his own boss runs. Don't know if it's actually true but he was a longtime active member on our forum and started recording videos when he still visited. As for who's better player... Well, being obviously biased I can't answer that question. Besides, we rarely tackle same games so it's not easy to compare our skills.)

I gotta give the devs credit: the boss mechanics for each fight are pretty varied and quite good. Can't just run-and-gun. Gotta be strategic and patient.

I'm really liking all of these boss battles, they're all seem really fun and creative. What it really ruins for me are the designs of these bosses, they're all just plainly generic :/ they should have went with a Metal Slug vibe. The battles may have been not as creative but at least i remember and recognize every of their charismatic bosses, instead of "generic robot tank" or "generic giant robot man" The music doesn't help that much either

It's not metal slug, but it really has a Contra III inspiration to it, so it should have taken some inspiration about Metal Slug's charisma. For now it's just another average indie game that is fun to play, nothing to be mad about.

the overall music and most of the SFX kill it for me personally. all of the sounds from the robot's footsteps and projectile shots seem way too soft and almost innocent for a game like this, especially when one of the cores is destroyed... that could be changed to something at least a little more explosive in my own opinion.
