could you only run stock mechs in the demo?

One can't custom mech's configs, if thats your question. You have 4 mechs, each with 2 configs : Jenner & summoner, which are kinda weaponless on both configs Timber wolf & Marauder which are all good, but timber has a better speed, and this (default) one has a real overkill weapons config.

@@balmipour ah gotcha, so it is stock mechs then. Stock mechs are the default mech builds you have in the game.

The demo was very limited, and it ran like a dog on the PC's of the day. The eventual game gave you true Omnimechs, which could be outfitted any way you wanted, without limitation beyond mass and hull points. Alot of Pvp builds were missile boats, though in congested maps, 10 machine guns could wipe out anything very fast, if you could get into range.

@@matthewgruba8040 yep, machine guns and UACs did an insane amount of damage. Mechs would only last a few seconds against a UAC10
