Growing up playing this game I had a huge thing for the gauss rifles. Argus? Heavy gauss. Shadowcat and bushwacker? regular gauss. daishi? double the gauss with lrm 20s and 8 med lasers. I had so much fun with that in the arena and having 2 lances with that setup was a spectacle to watch them fly around or just delete enemies. Never had a problem with ammo.....

@@Beast8383 I hate this cluttered HUD, mechs walking animations are really bad, I play campaigns so I am not interested in multiplayer, especially I dont play multiplayer on big open maps with barely 6 players at best. Like the concept, apreciate passion put into this by people responsible but I preffer my old good MW4.

Yeah, I showcased that in the Steiner walkthrough. Player have a choise to either kill her in "Backstab" or recruit in "Beach fight".

@@rentsy3444 You can do the missions in any order but in the end it's just a limited number of linear missions. Prefering procedural open ended campaigning. No BT game really does this.

@@HelmutKohlrabi Isn't that pretty much what both MW5 and HBS BT do? They each have a story but you can also just do endless procedural missions for all eternity. I personally greatly prefer the care and variety of crafted missions like this game has. The missions are just so much more interesting to me even if they're linear and limited.

@@ElecManEXE well you eventually run out of those. Procedural story campaigns with proper rewards would've been nice. Right now MW5's only fun in co-op. HBS BT suffers from the same lack of content for a long term investment. At some point you'll have all the best things acquired. Certain mods or settings may prolong this, both games become very boring to play fairly soonish. There's just not enough variety in the things you can do.

This is not OG MekTek, but also modded version with hi-res skins and textures. I had this distributive for ages on my hard drive, and I don't even remember where I get it. Spectre's voice acting is awful, he doesn't convey any emotion, always speaking monotonously even in the heat of battle, this bad actor ruins the immersion! 😫

He actually does some times, especially when he is mad which was apparent in one of the missions where there was no pay however imagine if you're a leader of a platoon you want to keep the moral of your soldiers high even during the most brutal moments, some times emotions may slip and this fits Specter's character

Is it your love for this game which drives you to ignore and even defend its flaws like a blind fanatic or are you actually blind to begin with? As for the charity work that you mentioned, I assume that you meant the Styk Evacuation contract during which he expresses as much emotion as during every other contract, that is to say: none at all, zero, nada, null, void. As much as you love this game, there is no point in denying its flaws and no one could possibly defend Specter's voice-actor who was an awful mistake from the publisher who utterly ruined Specter's character because he always speaks as if he was presenting a culinary show no matter the situation, he is one of the worst voice-actors that any publisher has ever been foolish enough to hire and your love for the character that he voices cannot salvage his mediocre and offending performance, the sooner you accept this reality and the sooner you can learn to adapt to it instead of denying it without changing it, you understand?

While I appreciated your playlist, I disliked this walkthrough because you played a character inconsistent with the lore since you chose House Davion over House Steiner and yet you played dirty and therefore you disgraced the noble House Davion, you should have kept your infamy for the infamous House Steiner which would have been more consistent and in character, I make no compromise with lore and I forgive no inconsistency, which is why while I loved Vengeance, I disliked and boycotted its Black Knight extension entirely and why I disliked this walkthrough here. 👎 I wouldn't have minded if you played dirty for House Steiner because it would have been consistent with their infamy however I don't forgive your inconsistency to play dirty for the noble House Davion because you disgraced them and you broke immersion into the lore as House Davion would never hire a dirty mercenary, you ruined this walkthrough.
