@@morallygray3405 I think I get what you're saying. All the way from the smallest battle armor, to vehicles and tanks, up to battlemechs and aerospace, all in a true battlefield-esque experience. But then with PGI 'polish' (I used that word VERY reluctantly where PGI is concerned...) with the mech models, animations, mechbay, etc. It could without any doubt be incredible, but I'm not holding my breath. At this point, I'll settle for MW5 finally coming to Steam with some solid updates and enhancements. But I'm not holding my breath there either. :P

Lol so after reading up about where the hell ''is my dlc for MW5'' only to find out that it's actually in a complete state and it just being held back to wait for next gen consoles I'm no longer interested in the developer let alone the game or the DLC as, once again, the PC platform, the platform that started the series, is getting the shaft in favor of consoles. From selling out to Epic store for timed exclusivity through to withholding a release for over 4 months specifically for console it's clear all these developers care about is maximising profit not looking after their consumers who have already bought in. Wish I'd never bought the game, only had enough content for 10 hours before it all got stale and you realised there were only like.... 5 mission types to cycle through and now we've had to wait a year (probably more in the end) for bit of DLC all because of consoles. I've been in love with the Battletech universe since I played the MW 3 demo when I was a 8yo kiddo. For me MW 5 was the biggest disappointment in 2019 game-wise. And this too little too late DLC looks like the cherry on top. I can't even fathom how the old guards, the real fans feel about all this. Especially after seeing buncha tryhards acting like what they're doing is awesomely intense.

I'm a massive fan of Mechwarrior from back in the 90s, I've given you guys money for almost every single title you've ever released. I'm gonna be honest with you chief, I pirated MW5 because it was on Epic Megagames Store only. I'll buy it for real when it comes out to Steam, hell I'll buy multiple copies for my friends too. But please don't ever do that to us again. Forcing your customers to use a sub-par service... That is not cool. Not something I expected from one of the last good video game companies to exist. if you guys weren't Mechwarrior it would have been something I would have never forgiven. I've ditched several titles forever simply because they refused to release on Steam, I'll never buy a game that has to do with that company or even mention their names. The Cyberpunk release, although a reason for most devs to hold back, wouldn't have really affected them as much as they're making out as Mechwarrior is (even now) a niche game but that's not where the backstabbing comes into play; the stab in the back is that this was ready for PC players BEFORE Xmax and that we're only waiting still because the devs want to pander to the console community, a decision made out of greed, not for any technical reason, they could release the DLC for PC now but they won't as they see us as the smaller audience thus our potential financial input smaller thus they don't care. I'm not buying anymore of their games, they want to act scummy they can act scummy but my money isn't going towards it.

I'm a big fan of MWO and all other titles. But that you dont release the game on Steam is really a shame. I'm not going to use another platform just for one game. If someone offers you something for free you should be aware of the long term risks as dev.

You could code it to allow the option then people could make their own chat pop ups and they wouldn't be paying any money for it or wasting any assets. You'd only have to put a file size limit so the animation wouldn't bog down the game.

What they don't tell you is co op is garbage you have to use the game creators mechs you can't bring your own or outfit them you get no progression for yourself your basically just riding a pre-made mech. The co op is trash otherwise this game would have been decent.

@@Valdorel Personal salt is an overstatement considering the crap PGI has pulled. People who had to wait an entire year now have to wait upwards of 18 months total now? I'm sure they had insider knowledge of the day CP2077 was going to get pushed back to way ahead before any of us did and purposefully left it on the 10th till 2 weeks before release day to drop this announcement. They probably planned this way ahead of time just so they could push it back further as an excuse to wring the sponge out for this company buyout to give them another big payout without having to actually sell their game.
