MCII-B 2xUAC10/5(I think of it as "2xUAC15" build) drinking game! pilot says: "one of the best", take a shot pilot says:"speed/agility/maneuverability", take a shot using pinpoint damage to remove a component, take a shot jumping 90 tons over/onto a small building, take a shot nail a light at 400m+ with full salvo. take a shot Facetank a laservomit by dabbing/shielding with thicc arms, take a shot over 1k damage, take a shot 4 or more KMDD, take a shot

I put two large pulse and two er mediums With twin uac/10s. I use the marauder IIC for the platform but fits on several clan assaults. Few years back you ran a uac20 and 5 on a timber Wolf with a couple lasers and ever since then I've been a fan of combining the uac and laser vomit meta s together. Prior to that I ran twin erppcs and a uac 20 on a Warhawk when it made its debut.

Good format for the vids and informative. Gameplay selection has been great too. TBH I hate these when I see them on the enemy team, especially when driven by skilled pilots, because that generally foretells an unfavorable end for my team. I should try one some time, but I’m a such a sucker for lights...and punishment (read “I like to play suboptimal mechs for the challenge...”)

The biggest problem with this build is it requires face time. I usually run my Hellslinger and im able to crit CT Mad Cats running this. Dual ppc lets me punch their nose, armor roll some return fire, and watch the other half of their shots go into the terrain.

Great vid, great mech! But isn't it better to puch UAC10s on top of UAC5s? It's a minor thing but it'll help a lot.

To be honest, it wouldn't really change anything, the convergence of the rounds isn't noticeable.

@@NoGutsNoGalaxy When firing at longer range you can see that the bullets drop a bit. The UAC/10 drop more than the UAC/5, so having the 10's on top gives a small advantage that costs you nothing. Also, if you are just barely able to fire OVER a ridge or other obstacle, having the UAC/10s hit the target while the UAC/5s hit the dirt is preferable. :)

Hey Sean! It might be worth a look to replace your ultra autocannons with the LBX variety, and an SRM6/4 as your secondaries, it's a DPS nightmare that I've had plenty of luck with! Happy hunting and great vid!

Though I've never used it, there is only one other build I'd say is worth a go on the B variant and that's 2xUAC/10, 2xLBX10. I may give it a go to compare, but still think this is the superior build.

For me best mech are who dont feel boring. One vid feels boring and no ams Mad cat mk2-2 2x uac10 + 4x srm6+art and ams Kdk-SP uac20 - 4x srm6+ art - er med laser and ams Atlas ddc and kraken i like them to some times but mad cat and kdr sp are my best

I prefer a UAC 10 LB 10 build... I have used LB 10s and lb 5s as well which works great too..

In my opinion, way better. The Kodiak received mobility nerfs awhile back and hasn't recovered since.

You can do same build on Blood Asp and it has ECM with high mounted ST Ballistic Hardpoints. I'll take my Blood Asp FTW.

True, but imho the BA is a larger target and it's so easy to just aim for LT/RT and bam it's dead.

@@maniclurker1 True but what you're left with is garbage. Even if your weapons don't jam (which they will), you won't be winning trades.. you may as well be dead. With the playerbase being so 'new' lately, you can get away with doing well in it tho..

This isn't a metabuild, it's THEE META. Seriously just about everyone in a Madcat MkII runs these things and they might hit like a hammer but clan assault mechs have a serious case of just shoot the side torsos. Just about any quad AC2 build can outshoot them if you get the drop on them.

You have made a grievous error, sir! The UAC10's should be in the higher of the two arm hardpoints. It does make a difference in many situations over ledges and low obstacles getting clearance, the bigger dakka should be in the higher hardpoints.

In the many matches I've played with this, it really hasn't ever been an issue, but yeah it's an easy fix.
