I tried to use this app to connect to my TCL TV running Google TV. TCL was on the list of TV manufacturers and I selected it, but it could never connect running through all the codes. I don't know if it is something I failed to do or if the TCL codes are faulty. I also had the same problem with my Sony soundbar. I wonder if in the settings for both the tv and the Mecool that perhaps the CEC settings are conflicting with each other somehow? I don't know - I am certainly open to suggestions.

I have mecool km2 deluxe about 5 days. Having major issues in kodi with rd sources playback. Average 10gb files..if I f-fwd a show even just a few mins the km2 won't correct itself everytime...only sometimes. Audio/video out of sync.ive noticed even if it does correct..there's about 4 second lag before correction. My internet speeds are great..500 mbps+. Can you do some streaming in kodi playback testing ans see how you fare...let us know. The box auto updated when I plugged it in. Other apps like stremio..netflix..cinema hd...no issues..working fine. Looking fwd to your response

I want the directional buttons to work on the mecool remote, while it's in the Roku loader. Is this possible? I just figured out I can use the top right button to switch to the mecool loader though so not a big deal.

Hey Troy if you're using like a US browser the search command keyboard prompt for 13 for stuff it's a small box next to it has a QR code get this out there people could just get scanned by anybody comes in their home and gets access to their device and it's a security risk😊

Something that has been on my mind for the longest. Is there a way to favorite a (movie or tv show) real-debrid link in Kodi. So this way, if I cannot finish a movie, I can always go back and watch the same link, reason being that, that link might contain meta data like HDR or Dolby Atmos. And this way, we would not have to search link after link to find the best one all over again. If there is a way, I would appreciate it if you would share that knowledge.

I think it is but I'm done with Amazon devices as they are constantly blocking modifications and pushing ads on us. Android TV is just more customizable.

I'm considering upgrading my current box to either this one or the buzztv x5 ax-c. I would be using it for kodi builds with real-debrid. Aside from storage which I don't need they seem to have similar specs from what I can tell. I like the fact that mecool has google and netflix certification but it definitely isn't a must for me. Which would be the better choice in your opinion? Also does kodi need to be side loaded on the x5?

Hello Jason, if you don't use IPTV I wouldn't suggest getting a Buzz box. Their IPTV integration is what they are known for as they have their own built-in player. This one should work great for you considering you might be using Netflix.

I pre-ordered the KM2 Plus Deluxe, and when using it we experienced Netflix dropping (blank screen), and video freezing while audio continued to play, and of course the remote pairing issue that you address in this video-so thanks for doing that Troy. Ultimately, while impressed with the system speed, and the 32G of internal storage and 4G DDR RAM, I was not impressed that it is Netflix certified, and yet we still had trouble running Netflix through it. I have paid the shipping cost ($70) that MeCool will requires on all returns, and await their decision to either replace or refund the purchase. Personally I would prefer that they refund it, as we have no such Netflix issues with our Fire Stick 4K Maxx 2 or the ONN Android TV with Google overlay box from Walmart.

@@Doc2609 I received my KM2 Plus Deluxe yesterday. I don't have any issues playing videos on Netflix. What is your setup, AVR, directly to the TV, etc? The Netflix app is the strong point of this device. It plays in Dolby Vision with Dolby Atmos. However, there are other issues that need to be addressed with a firmware update. There is NO DTS-HD MA, or even Dolby TrueHD, the best I get is PCM.

Hello Gary, problems with Downloader are usually a problem with a VPN. Try disabling your VPN if you are using one and try again. If that's not it, please post a detailed explanation of what's going on and what device you are using.

I passed on this box me cool, I went with a dcolor android stick, more memory than onn box. Not saying the onn is bad, just need more memory, who knows maybe there next one will have more storage.

Apparently they fixed it because I had no problems setting up my devices, I was able to assign Input to my TV and power to my Receiver, how ever I do wish you could se the power button to power on and off My TV and Receiver like the Amazon Fire Cube 3 did. I have to use the power button to turn on and off my Receiver and tell the Google Assistant to turn on and of my TV.

That is my problem as well. Seems that is a pretty fundamental issue - using the Mecool to turn your TV on/off. Supposedly the HDMI-CEC should do this for you, but it doesn't.

Same here, i can turn off tv but not sound bar or vice a versa. Really wish i hadnt bought it

If you have a sound bar with eARC you won't get any sound. I just got a refund on mine.
