I just bought one of the 3rd gen pro remotes and noticed that there is now a newer model the "3rd gen pro PLUS" FOR $2 LESS ($7.99). It appears almost identical to the 3rd gen pro with 2 exceptions: 1) there is one new button on the top right to support wireless blue tooth headphones. 2) the newer model now SUPPORTS THE FIRE STICK 4K MAX GEN 2! Try trading in your current one for the newer model, save $2, and it might solve your problem.

I was able to extend the storage as demonstrated but now I want to know where to find the backup my data/settings from “mytvonline3” so that can restore on 5 other mini z devices? 1. What folder does it backup to the internal storage? 2. I installed the ES File Explorer Pro from troypoint toolset so do you have a video on how to use this tool? 3. I thought I was removing the apps from the favorite row, but it removed from the favorites and apps screen. I see them in all apps from setting. How do I get them back to my apps screen? Hi Troy: Well I got the remote; but unable to get the app opener on my amazon app store. It says "app cannot be found." I did get it on the Aptoide store-free. It does link to my project ivy app. But is won't appear on the remote button 1 or 2. Clearly not an Amazon app. Any ideas? Many thanks.

I know this not on subject, but maybe you can help with my issue. I have a couple new 4K firesticks. When I try to download BBCiPlayer it says Unavailable. Yet when it shows a list of compatible devices it shows my Fire TV ( Firesticks) as being compatible. I've tried with and without using a VPN tied to the UK. I'm in the US. The Firesticks are fully up to date. I'm clueless what to try next. Any suggestions? Thanks

Just purchased my 3rd FireTV remote (hey for 10 bucks?) and my 1st app (App Opener). Now pressing the 2 button gets me right to my Wolf Launcher main screen that it would not allow before. Worth the 11 dollars total!

I got a new 2024 Firestick 4K and could not use my USB devices anymore! Something about privacy issues. So, I returned it. I need a direct wire connect for my USB Ethernet so I do not depend on WiFi. I also used to back up my settings to a USB...can't anymore. So I returned it. If anybody is still buying these devices in 2024, DON'T! Unless, of course one doesn't use USB peripherals on Firestick. Oh, yeah...did I mention I returned it? Maybe Troy or someone can come up with a way to allow USBs on the new Firesticks.

I'm fairly proficient in this "hobby" but I'm curious why people like 3rd party launchers so much. I'd guess part of it is having power over the device manufacturer, but I personally don't mind the movie and show ads because they remind me that I might have missed something. And really, how much time do you spend on the home screen? Three seconds to double check your VPN is activated and then go to TiviMate (or whatever). I mean you are spending $13 on something unnecessary when another $7 will get you an ONN device.

ive always had good luck with fire sticks as well as cubes,ONN , now the google box also works well, if you have a good provider and set up to troy's specs,myself ive never had an issue with any setup, as long as the setup is right,.
