I’ve ordered my zimaboard , cable and drive to set this up…. Great video, my question is if I’m connecting to my IPTV channels through Kodi or similar (right now I’m testing ApolloGroup TV ) so Apollo has its own app on Android and uses Startup Show app on my Apple TV, so which would you recommend on the IPTV side when I’m setting up live shows to record? Is that setup on the TiviMate app either way I go? That’s the only part I’m not clear on, I will rewatch that part of the video again without my dog distracting me 😂 Thanks again ! I'm a Surfshark user, I'm having 0 luck with support in trying to allow my Kodi 21.1 to use VPN for Internet access and yet allow access to my NAS for my local content (no problem on my Windows setup). On my Nvidia Shield and GoogleTV with the VPN routing Kodi (also VLC) I can't make a local connection. As soon as I drop the VPN, I can access my local media. So my question is I install the Kodi fork, is the APP named differently so I can tell SurfShark to ROUTE one of the Kodi instances to VPN and let the other one bypass it???

Just to let folks know that you can use a Chromebook to configure your ZimaBoard. Although the Chrome Browser didn't connect to Casaos I was able to go into my router DHCP server and see that Casaos was connected and had obtained an IP address. From there just type that IP address into your browser address bar and then you will catch up with Troy in his video. Additionally I was using an USB connected hard drive so Casaos immediately mounted that drive so that deviates a little from what is in the video.

@troypoint any help with my previous message Plex only detects O.S. Drive not SSD1. Casaos detects the drive and formatted perfectly. Please let me know what I can do to find drive when I ( browse for media Folder ) through PLEX. I purchased lifetime plex and all the equipment but I’m stuck. Thank you.

I ordered direct from the factory and it came with a single Sata cable. So if you only plan on using a single drive then you can probably skip the Sata Y-cable.

From Plex through casaos, when I go to zimaboard and go to (manage Libraries) then (add Library) then I select (movies) then when I click on ( Browes for media Folder ) it only detects my OS Drive Not SSD1 So I cannot find The ( PlexMedia ) folder. If we only need approximately 20 Mbps 4k then why not use the Amazon adapter? I heard stability is more important than speed, provided you have sufficient speed. How stable is this UGREEN adapter? I'm just trying to see the benefit of having more speed than you need, seems like overkill?
