I have MAJOR PTSD from these fights (and both other fights Mega-Emperor is involved in), so seeing them get stomped flat like this is very, very satisfying. I will be perfectly blunt and say that I did not know how to prepare myself for these two, so I ended up needing an insane amount of luck on my side to pull out a win. Love the game to death, but seriously - SCREW. THIS. BOSS.

You need parts that negate Press/Break, Optic and Missile and a guard medabot. Greatshield is a pretty good choice solely for its high HP, because you only have 2 slots for negation (I went for Press/Break and Optics). And one more healer that can use MF bind. Basically the guard will absorb all damage and the healer makes sure the shield doesn't break.

Av. Sombrio through my experience, its a lot of trial and error, especially knowing what each Medapart does. There's a lot of satisfaction that comes with figuring out a setup that works for you

Compare it to Pokemon. Your medal is your pokemon, your 4 parts are your 4 moves, your medal attributes re you pokemon level. You have weak fast attacks or slower stronger attacks. This game scales strongly with levels, so if you are lvl 100 you can play with beams and shit. If you are level 1 you must play with fast weak parts. Level improves speed and damage especially for slow attacks. This means the game is unbalanced for competitive play, as there is no advantage to playing fast attacks vs slow stronger beams and shit when everything is so fast at lvl 100 anyway and you would never play beams at shit at lvl 1 its impossible. Thats all there is too it . The video shows what happens when you are overleveled. Your transfrom parts change to robo emperor parts more often and the damage dealt was clearly due to having maxed medal attributes compared to enemy medal level. Strategy is not as important.

The most important thing to remember is: You can't dodge after Berserk or aim shot moves Strike moves don't allow you to defend but still allow you to dodge Shoot moves allow you to defend and dodge.

unfortunately, the Kuwagata medal (only obtainable in Rokusho version) is the only medal with the Grapple attribute

that's not entirely true, you can receive the parallel medal after the medaparts hunt post game, I'm pretty sure. unless the attributes of the kabuto megaforce from a particular medal in rokusho version

You can even defeat this boss by counter attack just havr the head part & arm left of baron + a sacrificial medaforce seal as 2nd. The babyblu was a pain in the ass.

@@rin8310 Babyblu was actually much easier for me honestly. Simply because Babyblu itself can't do any damage to you. Mega-Emperor is easily the worst Medabot in his team. Always deal with him first.
