The gameplay is solid in this title. A nonlinear approach on how to tackle objectives, a refined lean cover system from Frontline and Rising Sun, and a squad system that works great in the first two missions.

Why does the Thompson fire so slow and the MP40 fire so fast?

Something seems to be wrong with the frame rate in-game, and it's effecting the weapons rate of fire. The majority of the automatic weapons shown have higher rates of fire with a 30FPS display rate than the 20FPS it seems to be running at on occasion. The Thompson is firing much too slow, as is the same with both the MP40 and PPSh-41. Whereas the MP28/II and Sten MKIIS are firing at a normal rate of fire, and the frame rate isn't nearly as scuffed in those clips.

I have vague memories of this game from my childhood I find it hilarious how some weapons are modeled pretty good. And others look like hammered dog shit…. Thompson and mp40 good Mp28…. Is booty ass for some reason Kar98 good Mosin is ok Mosin PU SNIPER “roundness has left the chat” They just ignored the BARS rear sight entirely which is historically more accurate….. as someone who has held an m1918a2 …. The rear sight is fucking useless….

The MP28/II, Sten MKIIS and Mosin Nagant are all Multiplayer Only weapons, and all of the multiplayer only content in this game is extremely low-poly and poorly textured by comparison to the Campaign Only content. Multiplayer development was an afterthought for this game.

Most of the weapons are pretty good except the sniper rifles because aiming is stiff in this game

well its similar to moh frontline. But I get what you mean. I perfer the original ps1 moh auto zoom rather than manual adjust like ps2 title moh. however this has to do with analog movement or arrow button being seperated in ps2 controller unlike ps1. for ps1 originally is just with arrow button the analog is is just an add on or new version of ps1 controller.

Almost none of the ROF is even remotely close 1928 is ridiculously slow PPSH is also way too slow STG 44 is way too slow

Frame rate of the gameplay in those recordings is completely scuffed, and the rate of fire for automatic weapons is tied to the frame rate of the game.

back when games where good none of this woke shit or micro transactions shit that we get now shows how far the game’s industry has fallen and a lot of the levels in games back then was exotic compared to games now
