This game was an absolute groundbreaking masterpiece not only for the WWII themed gameplay but the music and the historical aspect with an experience (in a vicarious way of gaming) of what it felt like to be an American/Allied soldier in that time... It was not about the violence or being eerie or edgy - it was purely simple and straightforward to the point of being a World War II soldier. A true work of art that honored our heroic veterans and Michael Giacchino’s music was a masterpiece (I’ll go as far to say as transcendent).... True nostalgia and memories. God bless the people who made this game and America 👍

USA did not save Europe. UK and Canada provided Europe much more than any other country. All US did was send supplies and feed poor russians, to wake up and go again to war. And Nazi's weren't out of supplies, they just had no clothes for winter and their tigers were too heavy for russian lands. Please check yourself, I know you may be young, I'd love to think everyone did their best to stop war, but It was not case in WW2, in WW2 victim was Europe,US was watcher and Germany and Soviet Union were the aggressors, Don't buy these fairy tales. I love this game, I love how much passion It has, but from historical development this game Is not accurate at all. Speaking of war crimes, you think they would Invade Vietnam, Afghanistan,Iraq,Syria, If they were so all about good? US Is greedy country, face It dear yank.

Man i remember playing this as a kid. It was my older brothers game and I didn't know how to save my game, so every weekend I'd make it as far as Arnhem Knights and have to do it all over again, until he showed my that you can SAVE AND LOAD your game. It was like the discovery of fire to me. But asides from that I really love this game, it was my childhood and really was a major player in my interest in history and attention to detail. I always like how there was so much variety in the enemies uniforms, equipment, and faces. It wasn't like in other games, how a certain enemy all look the same and then the next enemies all look the same, like in Medal of Honor Airborne. I also loved the soundtrack in this game. It seems like the older games all had the best and most memorable soundtracks, these days I can't really think of a game that has a consistent theme song that everyone knows.

I love how creative and visually interesting the main menus of the Medal of Honor games are. I don't think any other series had such cool main menu screens. The soundtrack too is unforgettable.

I could literally cry watching this gameplay.....this was my very first shooting game ever! My uncle who passed away from cancer bought me this game when I was 11 years old, I played this game non stop on my moms tv....I look back at it now, and it's almost crazy to me that I'm about to be 32 years old with a 6 year old of my own......wow this game is literally a piece of my heart forever.....

Great game. Why do shit games that are only 5 years old a remake, but old masterpieces like thisdont? It wasnt a regular shooter, it was a cool spy game basically. Behind enemy lines and shit. Id pay lots of money to get this with modern graphics. Like the Halo remake. Just a graphic touch up.

My dad got me this game for my 15th Birthday (June 7th, 1987 is my B-Day) and it was very shortly after this game was released. I was SO captivated by this. I felt like I was playing Saving Private Ryan at the time! My dad always got me the coolest games...

Just found this game, 20 years later! I’ve been looking for this my entire life. My step brother and I used to play it and he died years later. It’s weird because Call of Duty 2 has something similar, buts it’s not the same. This is def it!

I'm watching this today, as It's exactly six months since my father died, at only 46 years old. I remember we used to play this together all the time when I was little. I'm sure he played through this entire game at least 15 times. I also remember we used to play turns, since the game didn't support splitscreen. We played on the hardest difficulty, and whenever one of us died we switched until we had completed the mission.

Man this game looks amazing. So immersive. I'm impressed by the amount of detail in everything. The soldiers even when idle look like they are panting from running around. Enemy soldiers try getting back up when shot down. You can catch them off-guard and they raise their hands to surrender. The waves splashing around and dust flying everywhere sells the setting too.

I bought this ps2 game second hand back in 2004 from an older kid in high-school, it was cheap but he sold me as being the freshest game on the market, top of the line and so on, trying to rip me off. I bought it anyway, and since I didn't have many games, (this was the only FPS i had for ps2). This game marked my childhood, 15 years later, those menu sounds are as clear as the days I played it. I learned about WWI and got me interested in history. Great memories!
