You broke the scripts for the Into the Breach level since you had forgotten to grab the smoke grenades from the lower level why you can complete it without beats me unless it was a fail safe but it breaks the end mission dialog.

There was just something about this game that was unintentionally horror game-like. The simple graphics, the terrible hit boxes, the painfully slow rotational speed, the fact that one random dockworker could curb stomp you, the fact that you couldn’t save between missions and had to do a perfect run mission to mission; what a gloriously nostalgic pain in the ass game!

Its not a horror game, it's a puzzle trial and error game. It's one of the most rewarding games to finish on the hardest difficulty, every health pick-up is strategically placed perfectly by the developers. Once you get to the finale after pretty much mastering exactly how they want you to play, they pull a funny trick on you right at the very end

In the next few days I will going to Normandy for the 80th anniversary of the D-Day invasion, driving from Edinburgh to Portsmouth then a ferry to Caen. My love and deep fascination of WW2 history was because I played this game as a child. Every one of the characters you meet in the game or who you fought along with I thought were heroes. This transformed my appreciation to the real heroes who fought and died for the liberation of Europe against the tyranny that prevailed over it. It’s going to be a very special and important day of my life. Thankyou Medal of Honour.

This is the most accurate depiction of DDAY in a game. Equipment, brassards, gas mask bags, life preserver belts, helmet markings. Oh if developers only cared these days. Also, the first wave was only a few companies spread out over the beach, so the amount of men isn’t statistically wrong.

I want a remake of this game so badly, but without any added dramatics. The music in this is beautiful and sorrowful, the stillness and the eeriness some levels had made it feel somehow real and unsettling, paving the way for thought for the people who actually lived through this war. Like the mission where you're running through backstreets, entering people's houses to see cooked food left on the table as the inhabitants fled. Some civilians cowering in their doorway as soldiers storm past their homes. Later WWII games just felt like action FPS games set during the era. Somehow, despite the better graphics, the realness was lost to all the over the top action sequences that just made it feel like a novelty and ruined it in my opinion.

I’ve only in my life ever bought one gaming system, and it was to play this game. I was at a buddies house and watched him play a little bit of it and I was hooked. Such an amazing game for it’s time
