Just outstanding videos. I wish my Dad was still around to see them. He was in the 10th Defence Bn.. USMC in fhe Solomons in 42. 40mm Bofors crewman. It was my honor to place a dedication brick at the Nimitz Museum walkway for his service. Semper Fi Dad.

I don't often comment, but this is an excellent presentation with its multimedia format and clear narrative. What is particularly helpful and interesting is how the WWII sites are identified with the various circles. A very nice source of additional information which makes the video that much more understandable. Well done! Keep putting those green circle WWII overlays whenever you do a subject like this.

Thanks for the videos. They are well done. I have read a lot about the Guadalcanal campaign. I was privileged to have a Knights of Columbus brother who landed with the “first wave” of Marines there. I enjoy seeing the terrain. Puts the combat more into perspective.

great video thank you. its crazy how a jungle has become a city in just 70 years. very few of the acutal battle sites are left now, all under suburbia sadly
