This. This is exactly what makes Medal of Honor what it is. The reason why you are uploading not just the soundtrack, but rather the soundtrack with its background ambience -- because of those whistles, those German calls and dogs barking, that make up such intense, dramatic atmosphere that you can truly feel, even though it's just an old Play Station game, it throws you into it and makes you feel like in the middle of this ongoing action. I don't know if it's just me but I don't feel this in any modern games anymore. Back in the day, without HD graphics and refined game dialogues, the companies were adding up so much into the games to make you feel like it was some war, not just a rumble of pixels. And somehow this speaks into me much more than all this photorealism with no inner charm that only these old, brilliant games had.

Ann Night That Is so true. The reason why this game still holds up pretty well (not perfect, but pretty well), was because of the amazing atmosphere it created using music and ambiance. I was so disappointing with the latest Medal of Honor game, War-fighter, when came out. It was one of the most generic FPS's that I have ever seen, lacking the color, the sound, the suspense, and the overall atmosphere that made the old Medal of Honor games good.

This is so true. Atmosphere in this mission, in this game is so good. Old games aren't getting the feeling throught ultra-realistic graphics and all of this stuff. They were able to get the right thing only throught music and ambience sounds. That's impressive.

Lots to unpack here. 0:01 - "He's over there!" 0:05 - "There's no escape!" 0:07 - "I can't find him?!" 0:16 - "Surrender already!" 0:33 - "Get the ami!" - Slang for "American". 0:35 - "I heard something in that corner!" - Took me a while to get that. 0:41 - "Put down your weapon!" 0:47 - "Release the dogs!" - reused sample. 0:59 - I think it's a command for the dog. Might be "Search the Ami!" but not sure. 1:14 - "Can anybody see him? 1:32 - ??? what I understand doesn't make much sense. 1:45 - "Everybody take this position!" - reused sample. 1:54 - "Units(?) ...???..." - reused sample. 1:57 - I always thought it was "I think he is dead!" in relation to one of the dogs, because he sounds rather upset. But it could also be "You're dead!" but then it would sound really whiny, like some spiteful spoiled kid.^^ "No Ur Dead!" 2:02 - "You have no chance against the Wehrmacht!" He actually uses "Sie" the formal version of "you", so he is a polite Nazi. 2:16 - Might be a dog name. - There is a playable dog character named Bismarck in MoH but that is not the name he calls. There is also A Velociraptor called Steven. Bismarck VS The Velociraptor was quite a funny MP Match-UP, because you could call each others high pitched name with the select button. 2:38 - ??? 3:11 - "Dirty Ami pig!" 3:20 - "He is over there!" 3:31 - Sadly I have no Idea, but it sounds hilarious.
