the year is 2008, you are sat on your living room floor in front of a big boxed tv. you pick up your playstation 2 controller and untangle the wire wrapped around it and begin to plug it in, you push the big button on top of the PS2 and place in Medal Of Honor Vanguard. you run to your kitchen to grab some snacks and sit in front of the tv once again, where you will not move for hours on end, even to use the rest room, the missions that bring such an excitement to your face you can't help but smile as you run for cover before letting off with the tommy gun or the MP40 you previously picked up! - today kids, teens and even most adults will not know the joy this game once brought to so many. things back then was more simple! I hope they bring back this amazing franchise ps: Sub, i do videos lol.

Medalha de honra fez parte dos meus dias. Me lembro de chegar da escola ofegante com uma imensa vontade de jogá-lo. Ligava meu ps2 empoeirado com tanta rapidez e jogava por horas. Lembro de que passava alguns minutos no menu do jogo ouvindo essa trilha sonora. Eu ficava entretido como nunca fiquei depois de adulto. Sinto falta de dias como esses, onde um simples jogo me deixava profundamente feliz. Eu ficava todo animado quando minha aula estava para acabar, pq eu sabia que quando chegasse em casa, eu jogaria medalha de honra, gta, midnight club, god of war, entre outros jogos que marcaram minha infância. Aquela época era diferente, pois vc sentia a emoção que os jogos poderiam te transmitir, ent tu jogava concentrado como nunca! De qualquer forma, hoje, adulto, e como consumidor de jogos, digo a vcs, com tristeza no coração, que não sinto mais a animação de criança. São pouco dos jogos que realmente me cativam como antes. Sinto saudades do tempo onde tudo era mais simples e mais marcante. Não se trata apenas de uma memória afetiva, mas sim de uma boa experiência como um todo. Foi um prazer poder dividir uma boa experiência com vcs, rapazes.

Infelizmente hoje em dia já não sentimos mais a mesma sensação ao rever essas obras primas que transformaram nossas infâncias. Um pouco disso se deve ao fato de que crescemos e amadurecemos, fazendo com que víssemos as coisas de forma diferentes e não tendo a mesma inocência de criança necessária para sentir a emoção que esses jogos nos transmitiam. Cara, tive o Prazer de Rejogar recentemente o Allied Assault, meu primeiro jogo de computador e o Airborne, meu Medal of Honor favorito e Pacific Assault, com aquela mecanica de comandos de AI incríveis, te falo com convicção, não é Só nostalgia, é qualidade e imersão! I remember playing this on the PS2 when I was just a little boy. I'm 18 now, and games like this, Medal of Honor Front line, CoD Finest Hour, and other fantastic games that actually make you feel for the characters. games like these made you feel like you were in WW2 with the soundtracks. I remember sitting at the menu doing a salute as a kid while this theme played. Im Canadian but appreciate the sacrifices of everyone in WW2... sad how many modern FPS games lack the emotion of their ancestors. even as I wrote this comment a slight tear formed in my eye cause of the theme music.

Medal of Honor was not one of the best type of games but in my eyes I see it as the best type of games one can make. I always remember when I would wake up one morning and immediately go to the half-basement, sit down, turn on the old TV and PlayStation 2 and take the Medal of Honor disc and put it in the PlayStation 2. It didn’t really matter which one I picked because both were amazing in their own ways. Whenever I got stuck on a mission in the campaign I would always ask my father for help, and he’d come down straight away just to help me beat the campaign. After he helps me we always did a 1 v 1 which I found out was in the game and played it with my father. I loved the PlayStation 2 and the old games, much better than my Xbox 1. The thing that made Medal of Honor better than other games now is that the campaigns are larger and better, no dumb online kids always raging, and the graphics. I still love Medal of Honor, I always listen to the theme songs whenever I am doing work or just to admire it. Medal of Honor and the other games of the PlayStation 2 will always be with me always, Rest In Peace Medal of Honor you will always be with us. 🎮❤️😥

I miss those days when there were more WW2 games out there. Now its Advanced Warfare and Battlefield 4. I am not implying that these new games are bad I love newer games all together. I just miss the days when they had more WW2 games :(

Medal of Honor Vanguard was the first Medal of Honor I played. I was about 8 or 9, Im 18 now and still play it. This game has a special place in my heart.

Antes no avía mucho multijugador online cooperativo, o modo zombies, pero lo que importante era que este juego era una completa leyenda y puedo asegurarte que lo sigo jugando a mis 15 años y eso que estoy hablando de cuando tenia 6 - 5 años más o menos.

Then download them and play them all over again. From personal experience I can tell you that Battlefield 1942 still has 50+ players online at any one time, even after Gamespy went down.

I remember the good old days when I used to play this with my friend and we used to just kill ourselves on top of the roof of the barn on the "Barn" map just because of how funny it was to see your corpse fly across the map (especially when killed by a melee attack)

De todos os Medal of Honor para ps2, esse foi o único que joguei e terminei, lembro das vezes que convidava meu primo lá em casa pra jogar comigo, simplesmente um dos melhores jogos que já joguei, que a Activision lance quantos Cods conseguirem, mas eles nunca vão superar os jogos daquela época que não precisavam de gráficos de última geração pra nos divertir.

EA tried to readapt the series to next gen by handing it over to DICE. The single player and multiplayer were so alike that people eventually only played battlefield, it felt like the same game and moh series lacked unique combat style. Medal of Honor didn't sell anymore. Sincerely, I don't know what happened, Airborne was so perfect. It was all for the adventure and action. They should split battlefield in 2 parts. Multiplayer should be done mainly by DICE, while single player campaign should be done as a medal of honor title.
