I like the small detail of hearing the mags being pulled out of the pouches and the ruffle of the clothing when shouldering the weapons. Never noticed it back in the day

A load of these animations got reused in BF4.

Yep, and this game had animation reused from Battlefield 3, such as the pistol empty one, that was the M1911 (Although not on the Glock 18) the AK reload (74M - AEK-971 - AN-94) the SCAR reload too

No, they were from BF3, DICE just reused their BF3 anims.

I always found it funny that the AKs had their safety on, and that it was partially charged on the empty mag reload. Even funnier, is that the AKM is just an AK-103 with wood palmswell hand guard.
