His life story sounds like a 12 year old bragging in the schoolyard. “….and then I became a Ninja and all the other Ninjas said I was the best Ninja! Then I won the fight and everyone said I was the best and I should stop doing secret fights cos I was too good………and then I fought some pirates!!” Love the movie though

Thing is ...Frank is a Jewish. He is also from Hollywood. If you know anything about how the way works, you know his small but high nepotistic tribe control the levers. It's really not far fetched to consider Frank was given short cuts and his BS bought. Just see Krav Maga. So much BS happened with martial arts before the UFC too. People, even in super high places, were believing and practicing BS.

That’s what I was thinking. There’s no shame in exaggerating things and sometimes building a fantasy of yourself. I did this a child, and if the women is attractive enough I’ve done it as an adult LOL. But like you said, there has to be some humility to it. The Doctor was talking about “no competition” and that’s really interesting. No one was even close. No others who helped as well. Chuck Norris was at least smart enough to add these things in his movies.

Back in the 80s, in my first few weeks at school, there was a boy in my class who told the most unbelievable stories. Really over-the-top phantasies of him being able to fly. The boy was quickly transferred to a special needs school. Looking back, I'm shocked that a 6-year-old with lots of imagination got treated this quickly as mentally disabled. And then you hear all these stories about people telling the wildest of stories and lies, being successful and admired at least by some folks. Had the boy waited with his stories until he was of age, he may have become a celebrity, but telling weird stories as a child was not accepted. 🤦‍♀️

I remember seeing bloodsport in the theater when I was a teenager mid 80s . I thought it was based on true story . Up until now .. dang people can really decieve. My Dad was a real true combat Veteran Vietnam 11th Cavalry 1966-67. I know one thing that guy wouldn't have fooled my Dad actually he would have gotten severely hurt for pretending to be a Vietnam Vet

The implementation of the Steven Segal movie titles to subtly eviscerate Frank Dux’s absolutely asinine claims made my day.
@CreatingExcellence

I recall as a kid in the 80’s thinking Frank Dux was the real bad ass after I watch Blood Sport (I probably watched it over 25 times). I hated reading and school work so in 6th or 7th grade I concocted the idea to do a book report based purely on the movie Blood Sport. I just made up the copyright date and the other necessary things that were required, maybe even the title but I don’t recall. I got an A+! I recall having that discussions that Van Damme was an actual black belt and legit, so at least that part turned out to be true. It appears I morphed into Dux with my fabrication of there being a book that I had read. You have to give the man some credit, he has a wild imagination.

I call Frank Dux "Pinocchio". That man has lied so much, I think he believes his own lies as we speak. I saw him in an interview with Viking Samurai a while back, and you can tell the host was like "really bro" just with his face. It was a four part series and Frank has no shame in justifying his claims and delusions of grandeur. I will give him the fact that when he collaborated with Sheldon Levitch and JVCD, they made amazing and classic martial arts movies. He should've continued that track by collaborating and even providing great stories. But his ego is so inflated that he burned so many bridges in the process. He is a lesson to all of us to always do a self analysis to make sure that we don't believe our own hype and that there is always room for improvement and humility. If possible, you should do an analysis on Jason Dwayne Blaha aka the Fake Merc, aka The "bodybuilder" aka the "Tough Guy Alpha Male" aka-you get the point.
