I'm having dialysis for kidney failure caused by my enlarged prostate which caused hydronephrosis. Kidney failure due to hydronephrosis is described as a "Rare pathology" … because the symptoms of hydronephrosis are usually so obvious that it is treated before the kidneys fail. However my doctor responded to my saying that "Often when I eat I feel as though food is poisoning me" (I was worried I had cancer) by (I surmise from his response) that I had a "psychotic fear" that food is poisonous! … "We'll think about that later" he said. Food I was eating WAS poisoning me. I'm 77 … older people often get "brushed aside" by doctors here in the UK.

In virtually every country besides the USA SI (Systemè international ie International System of Units) is used. Thus internationally we simply talk about serum Urea concentration (Ur ) measured in mmol/L . In the USA (For reasons unclear to the rest of the world) they talk about BUN instead which is the same thing but measured in mg/dL. So that's a thing causing pointless confusion....

Dr. this was partially useful. there are details and background information that you miss. you ASSUME, viewer has passed already biology 101 and 102. majority have not done that. so, it would be useless for them. while what you are doing is magnificent, i strongly suggest, you talk with more details. do NOT assume viewer knows a lot of biology.
