Hi there, how did you go about changing it to a single phase?

Swapped the motor. However, I have previously converted 3 phase motors to single phase supply by adding a run capacitor. I have a video showing this on a coolant pump motor.

@@PizzeyTechnology I ended up buying the next one up from this. It's the f14 Pacera model. I also have the manual if you have any questions. The hex nut on the side to the right of your on/off switch is for tightening the belt. There is one on the other side also

Do you know how to change the gear box oil as suggested by the instructions on the side

No, I didn't change the oil. I have since upgraded to a better drill.
