John Medeski, In my opinion, has the greatest B3 manipulation with those tones, and how he keeps it low and respectful through the tune to create the support needed. That iconic wobbling tone to the B3 makes this song interesting. John Scofield has this killer guitar tone, I love his sound and improv style. Thank you for sharing Aleksey! These guys are my heroes!

The tone control on the B3 he uses here is phenomenal. I've played and recorded B3 organ plugins in many a bedroom mix but I've always just settled on a tone and used that for the whole thing maybe adding some drive for any solos. The Idea that someone could mould the sound in realtime is amazing to me but makes a whole lot of sense. I guess that was the point all along. Wow. Mind BLown. Luv and Peace.

Actually, he doesn't switch pickups there. The switch is on the bridge pickup form the start. He reaches for the bridge volume and then reaches for something with his foot. Sounds like he backs off a little overdrive or something. His tone IS the bomb though. No?
