He's pretty good. I like this song and video because you can both hear and observe how each instrument/player contributes to the tune. You can key in on Medeski and realize he is shredding than shift your focus to Martin and realize how important he is to the tune. I'm not a musician but I appreciate listening to great musicians play together.

His contorted expressions are unmatched as they become Divine with the music and after seeing them countless times it was made clear to me that they are made for one another.(each person in their specific instrument and also the way that they express themselves and have perfected their craft) Plus I really appreciate somebody living to create music and creating art now compared to these recent generations who's just make art on computers

Mmw were a run away he managed to lasoo was my take, similar, but I was huge mmw fan and knew of scofield from playing with miles and Mike stern. Scofield is genius not just playing but to take advantage of a rhythm section that tours on their own electric and acoustic for years with crazy chemistry. There was no way the album could be anything but brilliant. Mmw was little uptight about not being on album cover etc but they didn't have foresight scofield did. They could tour once in a while for 20 years in this formation that was what mattered. Still lovin' it

Always been captivated by music. Sounds dancing over silence sort of magik. At two, had my mind set on drums, which I started practicing around fifteen. Not totally bad, but mostly enthousiastic. Later on, in my early fifthies, started practicing on guitar, just for the thrill of it. The more I age, the more I'm fascinated and blown away by beautiful bass lines. It is a magnificient instrument, made for solidifying rythm structures as well as embellishing harmonic endeavours. Bass is the stable rock you build your fondations on and yet, it glides gently out of any redondance traps. Bass is just another world within another world. Excuse my English, it is not my native tongue.
