I have 2 Medford knives and their action is the smoothest of any knife I own. They take several weeks if not a month to break in. Once that happens, you will be able to thumb flick it or Spydie flick it open. The pivot is easily removed with a spanner tool, but it is the only knife brand I own that I have not needed to disassemble. Due to the pivot being lubricated with marine grease, if it needs to be cleaned, you can flush it out with water and blow out any remaining moisture.

The sculpting and colors on that knife are beautiful. Would make a great work knife. My Praetorian T is a beast at work. Used it to pry a dishwasher out of tight cabinets the other day. 😁

I love big knives because they can practically be used for all purpose if you have a small squranny knife you are limited to what you can do with it . I do have some somewhat smaller knives para3 , bugout & a few more .favorite carry for now is guardian tactical helix

Those full-size .260" blade stock Marauder's will be very, very, sought after one day, imo. Especially since they've been discontinued. The Fat Daddy is still being produced though, I think. That may be the only other model besides the Ti Praetorian that has .260" blade stock. The Original Marauder is so cool though.....

the thin minis really are interesting to me. I already EDC a fixes blade so a monster knife doesn't do it for me but sometimes I carry a folder to or when I'm at work I also carry a folder and I really like the way the mini looks

Sorry, the price of these knives is not "polarizing" like you like to coin.

IMHO it shouldn't be up to the manufacturer to decide whether the owner should be able to get into a knife they paid for. Void the warranty if they mess it up, absolutely, but don't try to lock them out with a proprietary pivot. That only introduces more opportunity to mess something up.
