This is the ending stanza of medha suktam, chanted in ghanam mode. There are 11 ways of vedam chanting and this is the highest and most complex,hence it's name ( ghanam - heavy.. even in tamizh it means the same ) . KZbin medha suktam learning and click the video.. check the descriptions for the meaning adhered. In brief - this stanza seeks the Agni, Indra and Surya's energy to awaken our intelligence..

Namaste mam. A small information. Girls and women are not excluded from learning and chanting Vedas. It is because, many women like Lopamudra, Gargi, Maithri etc had contributed to the composition of Vedic hymns. There were many women in the past, who learnt Vedas and taught them to others. Only thing is that, our textbooks are written by the British. That's why, we think like that. Dhanyavaadah...🙏🙏

What dharmashastras are you talking about? Vedas are the only pranaams, rest all of the shastras/puranas and itihasas are written by men and manipulated by vested interests to have concentration of power. "Dharmashastras" which have discriminated people by vested interests have already destroyed Sanatana Dharma because that group of selfish people wanted to have power concentrated in their own group and ensure others were in ignorance. At least, now people are waking up and spreading the knowledge of the Vedas.
