It is impossible to stat pad with Christie Sides as your coach. She will pull you out of the game when you need 1 rebound for a triple double, she will make every coaching decision that helps the opponent. She only calls a timeout to stop the Fever's momentum not to stop the other team from going on a run. She will change the lineup after beating good teams. She will change the offense because you play too fast. I repeat....it is IMPOSSIBLE to pad stats when Christie Sides is your coach.

Sorry to inform this woman but Sides made sure CC would not get 10 assist against Minnesota. Sides made CC give the ball up at half court and become a 2 Guard. It happened most of the game until the 4th quarter. For some reason CC was not allow to play point guard until the 4th quarter. Either CC did it on her own or Sides came to her senses. If CC played her normal role she would have gotten 10 easily.

Christie "I play for the other "Sides needs to go... With that being said- its not stat pading if you are doing it as part of regular game play... Reese's problem was that she was trying to get 2 points with less then 19 seconds on the clock with her team down like 14 or 20 points. Its not about the team or the team trying to win- its about her personal record. And besides she was like 4 for like 20 on layups and under the basket shots. If she was going to get 10 points she should of got it before 15 seconds was left on the clock

the game was not "already won" there was around 29 seconds left and Fever was like up by 9 points. A competent team can do alot of damage in the last 29 seconds of the 4th quarter. 3 threes would tie it and if they got free throws they can even win the game. Esquire is looking and fishing for anything to hate on CC and even trying to throw out (a failed) false equivalent in regards to Angel R. stat padding (which clearly she was as we all saw what happened).

There was another record. Number of consecutive 2x2’s including points and assists, held by C. Vandersloot. CC has five CV has six. CC would’ve needed to get to 10 assists to tie. That what I was stat watching this particular game. Wasn’t gonna happen obviously. Btw, I am talking about the Lynx game, so perhaps my mistake, I was driving, missed the precise game you were referring to until the end, whatever. Ok, there is another assist record. Non rookie WNBA assist record is 14, so she could’ve tied that and surpassed it obviously with 15. That may be the reference, not just the rookie franchise record for the Fever of 13 which we know CC did 3 times in a row. ☑️👌😎 JP

It’s not stat padding unless that becomes the agenda. For example your team is leading by 30 points and you’re still going all out to score as much as you can to get your numbers up. If something occurs in the normal flow of the game that’s not stat padding. If you’re on the court you have the right to play the game regardless of what this Natalie dingaling has to say.
