Slight update to this video - in the final version, the 'chapters menu' will now be a seperate control and is no longer part of the settings menu. The settings menu has been since re-designed, and can be seen in part 3.

Amazing Is it possible to add the latest videos from a KZbin channel and playlists? For example, to always display the last 8 videos, etc.

Not at the moment. For KZbin, the individual video ID/ URL needs to be known in order to get the video and poster image.

The functionality and customization options are 🔥 I see that you can customize the colors of the player's UI.. BUT, I didn't see being able to customize from dynamic data / custom fields / acf, like Video Title, Chapters, etc. Use Case for wanting dynamic field controls for player color UI: When using multiple players on multiple pages, sometimes pages have different color schemes. If I have custom post type of "Videos" it would be nice to have the obvious fields like Video Title, but in my case it would help if the player could also get it's UI colors from custom fields that I could input WHILE inputting other video data. Also imagine dark / light mode? It would be nice to be able to set these color options while setting up each video in my CPT all at one time. I have a few sites with 100's of videos. Also imagine if dynamic fields for player UI color controls are there, I could setup numerous "Player Color Schemes" in an Options Page. I could probably do this with css classes, but it would be easier if there were dynamic data fields for color.

Thanks for the feedback/suggestion, this is exactly why we're releasing the videos early, before the element release. With Bricks, the color controls don't support dynamic data generally, as all they're doing is adding CSS rules to the page stylesheet, there's nowhere for the dynamic tag to go. (in other words, dynamic tags are only for adding content/attributes, not for CSS rules) However, you can do what you want to do, just in a different way.. (this applies to any element actually, but i'll give the example for the player) Say you wish to change the video title background color, and the primary control color in each video based on CPT. In the style settings, you'd add a CSS variable for those colors that need to be dynamic (instead of choosing an actual color). and then you'd add a custom attribute to the element, say "data-color-scheme" for the name and your custom field dynamic tag for the value. Then you can just update those variables for each possible attribute value. When the attribute changes, those couple of variables will update, and as a result all the player controls using those variables will appear different colors.

I am just so hyped for the player. The functionality is just amazing. Question: is it possible to use alternative sources for vídeos like Rumble with the same functionality or is it just limited to KZbin and Vimeo?

David, got to write this element MBGA (MAGA) 😂 A question, in vidstack there's possibility for SliderPreview & Chapters preview, is this included too?

The player will have support for the thumbnails in the slider and the chapter settings, yep, but a VTT file would be needed to be provided. It's not something that can be taken automatically from KZbin or Vimeo. It's not in their APIs. But if you're using a CDN to host videos, there's often an auto-generate thumbnail option where the VTT file is generated automatically when you upload the video file. In this case, you can then just add the URL for both the video and thumbnails in the player. I believe Vidstack are building their own platform for hosting videos. No doubt this'll be a solid way to manage videos that can be streamed by the player, and will most likely involve auto-generated thumbnails/captions etc intead of relying on 3rd party like KZbin.
