I have visited Iraq many times, only been to the southern cities like Karbala, Najaf, Kadhimiyya, and have found Iraqis to be very welcoming, feeling extremely safe, never have to worry about being scammed or being stolen from. The people are very friendly and welcoming, even the poor will welcome you in to their homes. Yes, there are checkpoints, because of ISIS, but I think with time, this will slowly resolve. The country has been ravaged, first by Saddam, then the 2 Gulf Wars and the crippling sanctions, and also some corruption at the government level. Every time we go there, the situation gets somewhat better. Would like to be able to visit more of other cities eventually. It was certainly brave of you to go off the beaten track, but you found so much goodness in your journey.

Thank you guys for sharing. Another beautiful video and just shows how far off track and out of touch the MSM are.

Yes, I would love to visit Iraq. I would love to visit many places in the Middle East in general. The hospitality of the region is something so few in the west ever get to witness due to reasons you elaborated upon near the beginning of the video.

You could always consider visiting the Kurdistan region, which is known to be much safer than the rest of Iraq. It can be a great experience, especially if it's your first time in the Middle East. The people there are incredibly welcoming, and you'll encounter activities that align with your preferences. Whether you enjoy exploring nature through hiking, visiting ancient cities and ruins, or even skiing in the mountains, there is something for everyone in Kurdistan.

I've spent 25 months total in IRAQ, it is beautiful and I'd love to visit Kurdistan in the north and go skiing in Sulaymaniyah in the winter.

Another wonderful video! As a person that loves (and teaches) history, Iraq is on my "list"... and has been ever since I learned about the Tigris and Euphrates rivers. I've always been drawn to places and events that bring people together.... provide a sense of unity for people, and many of the historical places in Iraq are like that. Thanks for the video... I love you guys!

I truly appreciate this channel for its ability to uplift humanity and showcase genuine human interactions that challenge stereotypes and debunk the narratives propagated by mass media. Instead, it presents the true essence of our world without any hidden agendas. Moreover, your philosophy on life and how to foster unity among individuals with diverse backgrounds, ideologies, and religions is like a breath of fresh air. I wish both of you tremendous success and look forward to more incredible content that we can enjoy together. Sending lots of love from the land where the sun always shines bright ❤🌞💚

Instead of keep saying Mosul was an Isis state in your second video, please try to mention that this is one of the oldest state in the world which was a capital city of many empires. You should have focused on the bright side of the city
