Where was the original leak? Saw the response in FB A1up group, know rexer had a video and additional detail a couple hours before that. Was Rexer the source of the original leak? Looked like it first appeared in another FB group, but never found it.

The flyer, like you said is wonky. Not only does it look like printshop and the cabs are out of proportion, the one in the furthest perspective is bigger than the front one.... BUT going the extra mile on getting button colors right... just interesting how some good, some bad quality there.

If John D hadn’t already established a long track record of head fakes and denying the existence of certain cabs-only for them to appear months later, I might accept his denial, but denying this particular leak knowing what we know about John, kind of stretches credulity. The easiest way to disprove this would be to break with his tradition and actually tell us what’s coming for once. Otherwise I’m calling this the rare Rexer W.

I agree with John’s own statement that the cabs are ugly. I hope whatever John D does bring out is more exciting. Would love to see him do Tekken or Virtual Fighter - or just anything different and new.

If John does actual cabinet with M1U I hope he DOES use widescreen monitors, with digital bezels for the games. Widescreen panels are a lot easier to source these days so it SHOLD bring down hardware costs.

John D already confirmed it's fake on Facebook the other day. TBH, I really like the Dynamo HS-5 style Street Fighter II cabinets and it's my favorite out of all the ones produced by A1Up for Street Fighter II in particular but this is obviously just a quickly photoshopped picture of those.

Full sized or even 90% sized cabs are too large, too heavy and too difficult to move. It's great that he's planning on using quality buttons and sticks, like Happ and Cherry, and that these will have some sort of expansion road-map, but he would need to come out with something that no one else has released, like Donkey Kong, Robotron, Q-Bert, or other game(S) that others haven't released. If not, forget it, no more street fighters, no more Marvel vs Capcom, no more beat'um'ups and for got sake no PacMan!!

Coming out with an XL Marvel Vs Capcom 2 (along with the rest of the collection) and have it tied into the online servers that would be the same as what you find on the switch would likely be an automatic buy for many if it is at the 599 price point. If you have to wait until Q3 2025 that make sense to set up the retail partners, manufacturing, testing, etc etc.

100% fake. Amateur looking ad, the low quality, grainy picture, the near exact replica of sf2 deluxe. Furthermore, if a competitor is jumping in, they won’t have mvc2 and third strike as their first products.

The same people that prefer fighting games where adamant that NFL Blitz would be A1Up's best selling cabinet. I know John D prefers fighting games, but if he wants his new business to be successful he should be targeting new products, not products that have already been repeatedly done.
