Great display of the Corps' brilliance in the basics. Tactical prowess is achieved by continous training and honing skills. From crimping blasting caps "CRIMPING!" to burning time fuse to creating shape charges from anything and everything Marines can get their hands on. Keep hammering and sharing knowledge and skills. S/F!

With the bottle the are making a shape Charge. A shape Charge uses a Monroe effect that concentrate the blast in a narrow stream. Also I see an improvised claymore. Brings back memories. This reminds me tomorrow is my Saints Crispans Day. February 24, 1991.

Idk what it's like today but it was a wild time in 2010-15. 1371 was fulfilling.

Can someone explain 3:45-4:00. how is multiplying by 12 the right answer when you are doubling the pieces to 6 ft.
@dominicsanchez2972 Жыл бұрын
You always prime with two initiators. The we’re probably setting up either a dual time fuse with 2 6ft or 2 separate devices with a primary initiator and a time fuse as the backup.

@@dominicsanchez2972I was on this range and yes we dual primed all these

Why not just cut 1 3ft section and get the burn rate then get that in seconds and divide it by 3 that gives you the burn rate for 1 ft . That’s much easier than wasting 2 other ignition systems all it takes is a little more math . Doing it in 3 one foot sections is pointless when you can just cut it in one 3 ft section and get the burn rate .
