@@akhilelias8649 No dude. People of Kamathipura were having issue with the release of the movie. They thought that it was shown in a bad light while the movie did not depict the place and characters in a bad light at all as they thought would be.

@@akhilelias8649 Honestly I read about gangubai only after the movie announcement. I read about her. In the book, 'Mafia queens of mumbai', which has info about many real life women, the story of gangubai is also included. The same storyline is adopted in the movie as well. She did fight for the rights of prostitutes, and met Jawarlal Nehru. She also sent back many girls who were sold unwillingly to brothels and adopted many kids who are still alive and tried to give them education . So yeah she is a great woman.And major part of the story is true. There might be some minute changes in the movie for the sake of storyline in a movie which the disclaimer also mentions..... There might be 5% of change.... Great movie altogether. If you see it as a movie, it gives a great message and Alia was too good.
