The "Medic Rag" by C.L. Woolsey, composed in 1910.
Calvin Woolsey was a medical professional and a composer of rags in the folk style. He only wrote a handful of pieces but achieved some success with "Medic Rag" and his first rag "Funny Bones" by selling the copyright to Jerome H. Remick (the rest were self-published.) Thank you; that's very kind! 😊 I personally found this to be a bit more difficult than your average Rag. Getting all those octaves in the B-Strain smooth took some practice, and finding the right balance between hands in C. Good luck 🎶
