Medicaid Monday: CDPAP - What's the Story?

Governor Kathy Hochul recently chose Public Partnerships LLC to manage the $9 billion contract for the Medicaid home care program - replacing the current system with more than 600 “fiscal intermediaries.” There will also be 30 regional partners. The overhaul of the program has drawn protests and criticism, but Hochul says reforms are necessary to save money and ensure home care is delivered to those who need it.
