Hoping you see this cause this was a month ago! But, I took medical billing and coding course through Devry, should I take the CCA or the CPC exam? I’m not seeing a lot of job options with a CCA , mostly CPC There wasn’t much on HCPCS though and I see that’s on the cpc exam.

CPC is my vote. If you already paid for CCA, then back that up with another certification like CRC or CPMA or COC or CCS.

@@medicalcodingbyjen I didn’t apply to take the exam yet but was going to do CCA. I think I’m going to get a CPC guide and take that instead thank you so much for your help

The notes are allowed for the exam?

yes, and encouraged unless you are taking your exam outside the USA then you are given exam books on exam day.
