as a driving instructor, I will be sharing these vids with other instructors....when we do "remedial" or medically mandated driving reviews, these informative vids will, I think, prove invaluable to ascertaining driveabilty issues.

NO SIR, I STRONGLY DISAGREE AND YOU ARE HEADED FOR A LAWSUIT WITH SUCH AN ATTITUDE. If you, as an "instructor" are learning your job on youtube, you need your licensing reviewed.

I thank God the Washington State Dept. Of Licensing did their job and did not reinstate my father-in-law's driver's license. The man has an unhealed broken neck, yet none of his doctors would tell him he couldn't drive, nor would any of his adult children. DOL actually gave him the opportunity to take a driver's test which he failed miserably. Maybe now he will accept his fate. Thank you DOL!

TLDR; DMV staff is empowered to prevent you from driving based on a brief encounter across a counter that not even a medical professional would consider sufficient cause to make a diagnosis or even suggest an impairment. Yet more proof that state employees are empowered to suspend your constitutional rights based on a whim, suspicion or prejudice. Congrats, Gavin. I hope you're proud.

BTW, Illegal immigrants getting "provisional licenses" are not subject to these standards. Or should I say lack of standards. Allowing a random DMV employee to literally make medical diagnoses requiring action from the citizen in question is ILLEGAL, regardless of what the DOT claims. By interfering with a citizens right to drive you are opening yourself and your office to legal action. The courts are full of this stuff.
