Medical Doctors in China MUST watch!

Got to say,this dude has certainly done his homework. But unfortunately medicine is a highly competitive profession, not sure about Australia but here in the UK passing your PLAB is just the first step. To progress further in your chosen specialist field be it as a General Practitioner or in a hospital speciality like cardiology, Paediatrics, etc,you need to pass further exams in your chosen field,otherwise you'll just be stuck as a junior doctor and some of these exams are notoriously difficult to pass apparently,depending on the speciality.😅

Hey, it’s the same here in Australia. Infact the exams here are more difficult to pass compared to the UK exams, starting from AMCs to actual specialist exams. Don’t be discouraged, do what you have to do while being realistic of your abilities, chances and the lifestyle you want for yourself.

Please allow me to disagree with a bit of what Dr shared. some students as myself, weren't aware of the role of kaoyan and yishizhizhao. We can blame it on both sides, the ministry of education and the medical school on one hand and on the other hand we may blame it on international students. Theorically speaking nothing disqualify us from taking the Chinese medical license, it's just that Universities don't make it a requirement. But It is changing from university to university. But I totally agree, if you want to practice Medicine, China wouldn't necessary be the best place, and if that is the only option you have, if you CAN study in Chinese to stand the chance to undertake a proper internship or even work. But If you struggle with the language, think of finding a country where you can do your internship and also plan ahead (in which country you long to practice medicine). Other than that,if you love research its a great place to be.
