The non medical question I believe is useful to understand the type of person u r talking to whether they r kinda “psychotic” or maybe not fit for the workplace in terms of personality…. This can impact in the teamwork relationship, the way one talks about themselves can give u s lot of insight

Is it better to go into more depth of the same example you've listed in the written selection criteria response, or to give another?

For written responses its better to give a range of brief examples rather than go into too much detail for one. Save that for the interview.

In the written responses I've mostly given a single example using a STAR approach😅 So would you suggest listing out single sentence examples in the written response such as "Won the confidence of a reluctant patient" over "I was tasked to do xyz when I encountered xyz problem and used xyz to achieve a desired outcome" - later being used in the interview?

Yes. That’s better. But also quantity counts, ie, “independently placed 6 central lines in my ICU term”

@@CareerDoctor I am a Psychiatrist and applying for interviews for registrar posts.I.was wondering about specific scenarios.At interviews I have been asked questions like ' a pregnant woman is suicidal' or ' a patient needs sedation and you are on after - hours duty' etc.Is there a good way to answer such questions?
