Hey Anthony, I’m a radiologist in Germany. I studied medicine here (in Munich) and completed my specialization in radiology. I want to move to Australia to work as a radiologist. I have experience with CT, MRI, and ultrasound, and I’ve also done interventional procedures. Additionally, I hold the Grade I (DeGIR) certification. Could you guide me on the right pathway and provide the information I need?

Dear Doc, I'm from Sri Lanka. Here, we have to wait 6 months after graduation to get our provisional registeration to work as an intern. Will this period be considered as a clinical gap? There are very limited jobs we can do like demonstrator, or research assistant or clinical typing jobs. But not much of actual clinical work. May I please get some advice on this?

Great video! It really sheds light on how to handle conflict-based questions in interviews. As someone who has developed an AI interview coaching app, I can say that your advice aligns perfectly with our training. Remember folks, practicing with real-life scenarios like these can make all the difference. Keep up the great work! 👍

This really helped clarify the differences for me. I wonder if using tools like Resubot would make it easier to format everything correctly.

Do you think it's better to use something like ResuBot for resumes or just stick to Google Docs for more control?

Hi Dr Llewelyn. I’ve talked to you a while back in career advice session. Hope you’re doing well. You’ve mentioned to me RANZCP does not require trainees to be PRs at the time they enter training/exit. Any ideas if they are going to change the requirement soon? And do you know what other specialties can non-PR IMGs apply for training? Thanks a lot.

Hello Dr Anthony, I did my MD in US and now because of personal reasons i am relocating with my family to australia. currently i havent given my USMLE exams yet so i am not eligible for competent authority pathway yet therefore i am planning to enter australia healthcare via standard pathway. now the situation is that in US there is no concept of internship as such , we have undergraduate program then people directly enter into postgraduation program and that post graduate training in US is equivalent to that of Australia's registrarship as far as i know. so in US there is no internship level position nor junior doctor/RMO level position. but in my 3rd and 4th year of MD i did two years hospital rotations in different department and that is mentioned in my medical transcript/scorecard that for how many weeks of rotations i did in each department, how much score i got in each department and credit hours i received etc. and here in US a person can get medical license only after completing the post graduation training here. so after passing both AMC exams, where do i exactly fit in Australia's healthcare system- am i suppose to apply for internship level position or RMO level position.

Please don't use Zety. After I paid for the services, my credit card information was abused. In less than one week, someone used my credit card for fraud payments. I seldom use that credit card and i think my information was stolen. Worst, Zety was billing me without my consent.

After completion of MBBS but without 1 year of internship, can I still apply for internship in Australia? I heard that IMG from medical schools in Australia are prioritized.. How can I apply for internship? For the internship should I still first pass the AMC1? Or can I apply for the internship first and while working as an intern or right after the internship can I take AMC1? Please give me some advise, I will graduate in Jan 2025.
