MEDICAL MISSION TOUCHES LIVES IN ITIRE-IKATE LCDA

The Itire-Ikate Local Council Development Area recently witnessed a remarkable display of compassion and community spirit as the council chairman, Ahmed Apatira organized a mega medical mission that brought free medical care to the residents.
The event was a comprehensive health fair, offering treatment for communicable and non-communicable diseases, eye screening, and provision of free eye glasses. Dental services, free medication, and health education were also available, ensuring that the residents received holistic care.
In her speech, the council vice chairman, Hon. Yetunde Jimba, who represented the chairman, reiterated the local council's commitment to the health and wellbeing of the residents, especially low income earners.
