@k8-jb8tg26 күн бұрын
@@mikebyrd546 He's done his 6 weeks of RT and CT and has done 2 cycles of the monthly CT and I've got to say, it's tough. He's not been too bad sickness wise, he just has what we call a 'fragile' tummy for those 5 days and a few days later, but wow is he exhausted. There are times he gets up, comes down stairs and falls back to sleep instantly. Again this is at it's worst during the 5 days of CT. Luckily, his next round is not till Jan 2nd, so he can enjoy Christmas. He's very slow and often a bit confused, mildly but it's there so he had an MRI last week. Thank you so much for asking and I'm sorry my reply is so long, so thank you for reading too lol. How are things with you? Hope you can have a good Christmas.

i lost my husbad to GBM... it started with a headache that wouldnt go away and i called the ambulance after he vommited in the bed ( and he never ever would have done this ever) diagnosis was march 2014( size of a golfball and bleeding arround )- he died first of dec 2015 at home after 2 brain surgeries and of course full go on chemo ( Temozolomide and later on Haloperidol aso ) and radio ... he was so brave and positiv - our boys where 9 and 12 at that point - and he wanted to see them growing up so hard... now my boys are 20 and 17 and i think i got them through that journey good enough to detouch if needed but responsible when important... im so proud of all of them - my late husband and my boys ... i was a widow aged 36... i have seen a doc wich has a new therory- he basically bombards the brain - somehow can calculate where the tumor will travel and targets that area bevor it gets there to infact not making it possible for gbm to place itself there... ( as it only accurs in the brain and magically regrows ... mostly in a 3 cm range only in the brain
