Liberal Senator Claire Chandler says it is “wildly inappropriate” to refer to women as “people who have uteruses”.
“Or breastfeeding mothers as chest-feeding mothers,” she told Sky News host Rita Panahi.
Her remarks come as the UK’s health service, the NHS, is set to scrap certain terminology used to describe transgender ideology.
“Not only is it inappropriate - it is medically inaccurate in so many instances.
“It doesn’t make medical sense to be using these sorts of words.”
