I’m confused…take Medicare while I’m still employed with a firm (1,000s of employees) with great coverage? I follow this channel quite closely and have spoken with a few people there…first time I’ve heard on this channel of several things he’s saying.

Not everyone's employer offers the best coverage. All that's being stated is that it's good to compare the employer plan and Medicare to see which would be the best option both financially and services covered. Your group plan may be the best option and that's great but you can still ensure that it's the best for you.

I felt like I understood I should at least enroll in plan A before my 65 birthday but when I spoke with Josiah he made it sound like I didn’t need to do nothing if I’m going to continue working and I have health care. Why make this so confusing?

Some may not be given an option. I am retired military and just turned 65. I had company insurance with Tricare as a secondary. Tricare informed me that at 65 I had to take medicare pt A and B or I would lose tricare. So I dropped my company insurance and enrolled in medicare A and purchased part B. Now Tricare is called Tricare for life. I hope that arrangement will be, at least, as good as my company policy was.

It'll be better! It's basically like having a Medicare Supplement

I’m confused, I can’t fully retire until I’m 67. I e spoken to Josiah Musick and told me I didn’t need to enroll in anything until I’m ready to retire. Your saying because I turned 65 and April is my birth month I should enroll now in A and B even though I have a job and health care insurance?

No, there can be certain scenarios based on peoples work plan. Here is a more in-depth video about working over 65. kzbin.info/www/bejne/anjXg6Omjrl7ntE
